Tibet: China Plans to Force Nomads from Their Land by the End of the Year UNPO China plans to forcibly move Tibetan nomads into urban areas and off their own land as part of its 'tuimy huancao' policy. This policy, which started in the early 1990s, has already resulted in the compulsory resettlement of over one million Tibetans.
